Environmental health and conservation are crucial issues in this industrialized world. We are dealing with very difficult and complex problems related to economic development, health policy, quality of life, and international security.
In a sense we are facing the Environmental Revolution and being a revolution it will require a new set of values. It is a question of survival of our society and ecosystem and therefore, beyond the regional an national boundaries.
As a member of the human society, everyone has a stake and responsibility to work for the policies and stabilizing the climate and to alleviate harmful environmental condition. It is a human-centered pursuit. With this in mind, we propose the establishment of the Institute of Water, Forest and Life to deal with certain aspects of these crucial global issues we are facing.
